World Earth Day: RHI Sensitization of School Children and Practical Demonstration of Tree Planting

On World Earth Day, April 22nd  , RHI led a special initiative aimed at educating and engaging school children in environmental conservation. The event focused on the importance of protecting our planet through a hands-on approach that included a sensitization session followed by a practical tree-planting demonstration.

The program began with an informative session where the children learned about the significance of Earth Day, the urgent need to address environmental issues, and the role of trees in maintaining ecological balance. The children were introduced to concepts like deforestation, climate change, and the benefits of reforestation in combating these global challenges.

Following the sensitization, the children participated in a tree-planting exercise. Guided by experts, they learned how to plant and care for young saplings, gaining practical knowledge on how to contribute to a greener and healthier environment. The children left the event not only with newfound knowledge but also with a sense of responsibility towards protecting the earth.

This initiative reflects RHI commitment to environmental sustainability and the empowerment of the younger generation to become active stewards of our planet.
